Nobody can restore that.

We need a serious presidential candidate. This can not be about tax cuts. The world is a serious place, not a circus who needs a clown, either.

Went to the Women’s basketball game yesterday evening in Columbia. It was the season opener that pitted South Carolina against The Ohio State. The Buckeyes lost 88-80 in a very physical, wonderfully hard-fought game in front of more than 17,000 thrilled, involved attendees.
I have four season tickets and hopefully none will go to waste.

Donald Trump said Saturday that the terrorist attacks in Paris “would’ve been a much different situation” if the city had looser gun laws.
“When you look at Paris — you know the toughest gun laws in the world, Paris — nobody had guns but the bad guys. Nobody had guns. Nobody,” Trump said at a rally here. “They were just shooting them one by one and then they (security forces) broke in and had a big shootout and ultimately killed the terrorists.”
“You can say what you want, but if they had guns, if our people had guns, if they were allowed to carry –” Trump said, pausing as the crowd erupted into raucous applause, “– it would’ve been a much, much different situation.”

That was a quote after the previous attacks in 2014. Trump at least had enough shame left to tweet condolences this time around. Of course having the French diplomat call you a vulture probably had some impact.
