5 On Friday – A Knight To Remember

Five on Friday - Autumn edition

5 On Friday is the creation of our friend Travis of Trav’s Thoughts. To join in, visit his site to connect to the participants and if you like share your five choices for the week.

This day is music history was pretty much a great, big crashing bore except for one small item: In 1995, Cliff Richard was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II, the very first native rock star to receive the honor. While never widely acclaimed in the US, Cliff was one of the best of the early rockers not to mention being pretty easy on the eyes.

  1. I’m going to have to come back on the weekend for this, and also for last week’s (didn’t get one moment after the retreat to catch up on everyone’s sets.) But I already know I love Devil Woman and Dreaming..

  2. Travis says:

I enjoy the music of Cliff Richard. I did not know he was knighted. Pretty cool.
